Sorry to hear we didn't meet your needs, as we strive to be all things to all people we realize that is not always the case. Our dynamicDICE app is an app of compromises, and as such we are limited to what we can do. However your input was very influential to our upcoming 2.0 release where we have increased the size of the dice significantly.
One of our main philosophies with this application is that it does not become a calculator where it sums up dice for you. The app was intentionally designed without this ability. Our reason is simple, for every way to add dice together there will always be a different way somebody wants to do it for the game they are trying to play. In other words, no matter what we do, we can not handle all cases. So to keep it simple, we don't do it, making it usable by all.
The dice are pretty but a dice roller needs to be functional too. I was going to use this app for playing a board game but ended up using motion-x free dice app instead because with just two 6 sided dice, they are too small to be seen from someone seated four feet away. Please allow the user to determine the size of the dice. A slider would be nice so the size could be completely adjustable.
Also from what I understand, the dice roll is not computed randomly so they need a lot of space to roll and bounce around. How about after they roll around, the dice all slide together on the surface so you can zoom in on them?
If that doesn't work, how about a large summary display, hopefully one that can also show the grand total on all dice or only certain dice in the set?
If a large, easy to read summary display is not possible, can you program the app to annouce the roll total with a voice? So if I'm rolling two dice and the roll is 4+ 3, the phone would annouce "Seven" and I mean loud so people across the room could hear it.
Thanks
